[DataSpider Servista] How the operation would be if I execute the script beyond maximum number of simultaneous executions?

How the operation would be if I execute the script beyond the maximum number of simultaneous executions? And if there are any points to be noted, let me know the same.

Answer

■Specification Description

When you exceed the maximum number of simultaneous executions, then the script will be in wait state.

■ Points to be noted

When the load to the environment where DataSpiderServer operates is high, it is assumed that this will have an impact in processing the script. For instance, when the CPU load or the disk and network load is high and if you compare it with the case when the load is low, it might take time to process the script.

When the load is high on the memory, insufficient memory will outbreak in DataSpider script and DataSpiderServer might be stopped.

Based on the above information, along with the assumed operation, set the maximum number of simultaneous executions.

■Supplement
  • The executing order of the script in waiting state is not assured.
  • Refer to the below reference information for the details related to [Settings of maximum number of scripts processed in simultaneous executions].
