In accordance with FAQ No.24363, [Interaction with Desktop is permitted in service] is enabled using the tab [Log-in], in Windows service of the DataSpiderServer.
However, the application set with the icon [Launch External Application] could not be launched. Do you have any other counter measures?

May be due to access restriction in Windows, the application launch could have been restricted.
Please check whether the specified application could be launched by the user who starts the service of DataSpiderServer.
In the past instance there were reports about the examples with below error generation whenever the VBS that operates the Excel application is called by [Launch External Application].

In this example, open the property "Microsoft Excel Application" available in "DCOM structure", by using Dcomcnfg.exe of Windows and start by specifying the "Interacting user" from the tab "ID".
