[DataSpider Servista] When I tried to browse the log from My Logs, error occurred and the log viewer doesn't open

When I tried to browse the log from My Logs, the below error occurred and the log viewer doesn’t open.
org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: An invalid XML character (Unicode: 0x0) was found in the CDATA section.

Answer

When invalid characters are substituted for the script variable as XML, as that value will be displayed in XML Log, it is not even possible to download as text format without opening the log viewer from My Logs. Do not set an invalid character as XML in the script variable.
 
As the specification limit of DataSpider, you cannot use the invalid characters as XML in the setting/places where input can be done. Refer to [DataSpider Servista Concept]-[Restrictions on characters used in DataSpider Servista] in DataSpider Online help for more details.
