[DataSpider Servista] I am creating a script, but please tell me about the flow. What is the difference between a data flow and a process flow in the script?

I am creating a script, but please tell me about the flow. What is the difference between a data flow and a process flow in the script?

Answer

In the script, "Process Flow" represents a flow of processes and "Data Flow" represents a flow of data.
The process flow and the data flow are collectively called "Flow".
In DataSpider Servista, by separating a flow between the process flow and the data flow, the process result that is once processed can be reused many times in the subsequent components.

■Process flow
The process flow represents the flow of processes.
The script is processed in the connected order by the process flow.
The process flow starts with the "start" component and ends with the "end" and "break" components.
The process flow is displayed as a black solid line.

■Data flow
The data flow represents the flow of data.
It can draw data flow from a read adapter or converter to a write adapter or converter.
The data flow is displayed as a yellow dashed line.

The above information is described in the following DataSpider Help:
