[DataSpider Servista] A table that I want to use for "table name" in the Oracle adapter will not display.

A table that I want to use for "table name" in the Oracle adapter will not display. Please explain the cause and a way to resolve this problem.

Answer

Cause

In the Oracle adapter’s "Table Name”, a table that belongs to the schema of the user that is specified in the global resource is displayed. Also, the number to be displayed is determined by the settings.

Therefore, if the table does not belong to the schema of the user that is specified in the global resource, or if the number of tables belonging to the schema is larger than the setting, it will not display.

Workaround

In the global resource list settings, you need to remove the "Limit the number of tables in list" restriction or expand the "Number of tables in list" and check if the corresponding table will display. Please refer to the help of reference information for details.

Supplementary

In versions prior to 3.0, there is no above function. In this case, the number of tables displayed in "Table Name" is 500 by default and the tables beyond this range are not displayed.

Also, even if the table does not belong to the schema of the user that is specified in the global resource, it cannot be displayed in the table name list. In such a case, please specify the name of the table directly in the "Table Name".

*If the permission is correctly set, even if it is not displayed in the table name list, you can connect to it by specifying the table name directly.
