Studio for Web has been revamped with DataSpider Servista 4.2, so we will introduce you how to output the new Studio for Web log. Please obtain it when there is a problem with Studio for Web and provide it to support.
■Log Output Destination
The Studio for Web log is output under the following directory of the OS running Studio for Web.
C:\Users\{your OS username for Studio for Web}\AppData\Local\APPRESSO K.K\DataSpider Servista\logs
■Log Level Setting
The setting file for log output level is as follows.
It is set for each execution OS user of Studio for Web.
C:\Users\{your OS for Studio for Web username}\AppData\Local\APPRESSO K.K\DataSpider Servista\conf\app.config
You can change the log level by setting the value of logLevel in the above file.
The following log level settings can be set.
The amount of information output in order from the top will be large.

- Error
- Warn
- Info
- Debug
- Trace
■Note
- The above log level settings affect all Studio for Web launched by the OS user on the same OS.
- If the log-level setting file (app.config) is open, an error will occur, and you cannot log in to the DataSpiderServer. For this reason, please close the file and try to login it.
- Please note that if Log level = Trace, the login password to DataSpiderServer is also output.
